For the past six generations my family has spent most of the summer at this house; this is the place you leave from and come back to, the place you come to in order to feel refreshed, revived, reinvigorated and where you can catch up with everyone in the shade of the gardens' centuries old trees. Nowadays the house sees the passing of the seasons and I am glad to be able to treat my guests to the same atmosphere of elegant sobriety, natural reserve and precious, but never flaunted, details I was brought up with from childhood. Villa Cavadini Relais is a rather "special" Bed & Breakfast near Como, a B&B full of charm where the all important first meal of the day is served with fresh bread and homemade jams, just like the one Aurelia used to give us as children.
